Scarlet...Eclectic Celtic Priestess of the Black Forest Tradition, Scarlet was born on July 24th, 1972. She has studied Paganism and Wicca since she was 14 years of age. Her field of expertise focuses on cultures and religions, magical and Wiccan practices, and research and teaching. She has obtained her BA in Classics and Anthropology and Certification in Journalism, Graphic Design and Technical Communication. And recently she added a BA Honours Religion degree to her repertoire. In 1994, she founded the Concordia University Pagan Society (CUPS) in an effort to develop awareness of this diverse spirituality. That same year, she began the Crescent Moon School, which has experienced several evolutions since. On the public front, Scarlet has published articles and poetry and run a local magazine (WynterGreene) on alternative spirituality. The Montreal Gazette, Pulse News, Jeu De Société, Second Regard, Eros, and several radio stations and magazines have interviewed her. Today she volunteers at the Montreal Pagan Resource Center and if focusing her time on realizing her goal. Her goal is to complete her Masters degree in Religion: concentrating an East Asian and Contemporary Wiccan religions. |

Maery ... Born into a family of very sensitive and intuitive women, Maery’s abilities were accepted and nurtured at a very young age. Raised in an electic form of shamanism by her Native American/French Canadian mother and Gaelic Father, she learnt about the cycles of the earth and how to live in harmony with the world around her, homeopathy and herbalism, concocting salves, tonics and creams at a very early age. Seeing her environment around her as being linked to her spirituality, she also got involved in activism and protesting against animal testing, the use of GMOs, Globalization and promoting recycling and ethical consumerism. She left British Columbia and moved to Montreal to continue her education in Illustration and Design, with a minor in Psychology, and is continuing her education at Concordia University in Creative Art Therapy. A healer at heart and self-proclaimed Green Witch, Maery’s inherent nature is to grow, nurture and cultivate joy in the world around her and in other people’s spirit |

Robyn ... Robyn first came into the store when she was just 13 and knew right away that she could never really leave. Now, as a part of the team, she manages the wholesale and production aspects of the business. Robyn is also a professional Reiki practitioner, a consummate reader and has a great love for learning. |

| TEACHING THE CRAFT (Scarlet) This is a workshop for people wanting to improve their teaching/mentoring skills. We will explore such things as: whether teaching is an art or a science; learning styles; preparing for teaching; writing lesson plans; presentation techniques; how to assess students; and how to be a reflective spiritual teacher. We will also address concerns of teaching the craft specifically. If you are interested in this course, please put your name down on the waiting list. The Major Arcana is the journey of the self. Learn how to use this for personal development and meditation. There are other meditation techniques you can do with the tarot that will be explored in this class. Also, learn how to determine time with tarot. The course assumes you are familiar with your deck. Please bring your deck and a notebook.

Advanced Tarot III – Spellcrafting (Scarlet)
Discover the world of spellcrafting with the tarot! Cards can be used as a focus in magical spell or as a means to achieve that which you desire. It is recommended that you take the Spellcrafting 101 course as this course assumes you are familiar with your deck and familiar with the basics of spellcrafting. Please bring your deck and a notebook.

INTRODUCTION TO THE TAROT (Robyn)
Sometimes it takes more then a tiny little pamphlet to know how to read your cards. In this basic level course we will be discussing the archetypal meanings of the trump cards as well as the general functions of the minor arcana. Please bring your own tarot deck to study with.

Aura & Chakra Cleansing (Scarlet)
This course will teach you several techniques of aura cleansing, as well as how to cleanse your chakras. It involves alternative healing, energy work, and guided meditation. These are skills you will be able to use on yourself and others. Please dress comfortably and bring a cushion to sit on if possible.

Tarot is a complex system of divination. This workshop assumes that you have a deck and are familiar with the basic meanings of your cards. We will take the next step in understanding the tarot. You will learn the meanings of card combinations, explore various types of tarot spreads, and how to create your own spreads!.

REIKI LEVEL ONE (Robyn)
Join us in this two day long course to learn all you need to know to become a First Degree Reiki Practitioner. Topics covered will include: the history and origins of Reiki, the ethics of being a Reiki practitioner, what the hand positions are in a full Reiki session, how to treat others as well as yourself, and formal initiation to the Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki using the American Reiki Mastery Association's style of initiations. Ample time will be given for practice as well.

Chakra Energy Work (Scarlet)
In this workshop, you will learn how to open your chakra, how to close and filter energy through it, and how tap into the energies of your chakras. This course is only open to Reiki practitioners who have already received their First Degree of Reiki. Topics covered will include Reiki symbols and their uses, long-distance treatments, mental/emotional healing treatments, mind-to-mind techniques, chakra harmonization, Crystal grids and and formal initiation to the second degree of the Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki using the American Reiki Mastery Association's style of initiations.

Psychic Self Defense for Beginners (Scarlet)
Learn about different problems and forms of attack that hinder our lives. These may be interfering spiritual entities, or may be people consciously or unconsciously attacking us with psychic or magical energy. Either way, you will learn how to banish, cleanse and purify your self and your home. You will learn how to set up protections. AND you will learn energy shielding. It is recommended that you take the Introduction to Energy Work course as this class assumes you can center and ground on your own.
